P&C insurance holding company Heritage Insurance Holdings has appointed Arash Solemani as executive vice-president and director of investor relations.
Solemani was most recently a sell-side analyst at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW), which he served for nine years. While at KBW, he focused on the P&C insurance industry. As an insurance expert, he is the only analyst that covered all five publicly-traded homeowners’ insurance companies in Florida, a release said.
Prior to KBW, Solemani was a CPA with Deloitte’s audit and enterprise risk services division.
“We are thrilled to have Arash join our management team. I’ve been looking for a new director of investor relations but wanted to find a qualified candidate who truly understands our business operations, earnings potential and peer group,” said Heritage Insurance chairman and CEO Bruce Lucas. “Arash has an impressive resume and is routinely mentioned by investors as their go-to expert in our sector.
“He is one of the foremost authorities in our sector and is well known for his in-depth understanding of the Florida insurance market,” Lucas added.
“I have spent almost a decade covering the P&C insurance sector as a sell-side analyst. During this tenure, I’ve worked closely with insurers to understand their operations, business plans, and earnings potential,” commented Solemani. “I quickly jumped at the opportunity to join Heritage because I feel strongly that Heritage has the best upside potential in the Florida market.”
