Several developments in the insurance industry signal strategic growth and leadership changes among key players, including AmTrust Title Insurance, Ryan Specialty and Hub International. These moves are expected to strengthen their positions in their respective markets.
AmTrust Title Insurance, a subsidiary of AmTrust Financial Services, is expanding its operations in Texas with the addition of Shelly Rogers, Susan Stewart Magana, and Janice Dempster. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the market and enhance its services through these appointments.
Shelly Rogers joins as regional agency manager for Texas. She has held key positions in the title insurance industry, including roles at Doma Title Insurance Company, CertSimple USA, Westcor Title Insurance, WFG National Title Insurance Company, and Reliant Title Agency.
Susan Stewart Magana has been appointed agency representative. Her career includes leadership roles at First National Title Insurance Company, North American Title Insurance Company, and Real Advantage Title Insurance Company. She is also the founder of Women of Title and has served as convention chair for the Land Title Association of Colorado.
Meanwhile, Janice Dempster has experience with both underwriters and national title agencies. A law graduate, Dempster’s legal expertise will support the company’s operations in the title insurance industry.

Ryan Specialty has announced the promotion of Dawn D’Onofrio to executive vice president and global chief underwriting officer of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (RSUM). She will oversee underwriting governance and technical operations across the RSUM platform.
D’Onofrio’s appointment coincides with the transition of WKFC Underwriting Managers and AgRisk Underwriters to Velocity Risk Underwriters, following Ryan Specialty’s recent acquisition. Ravi Singhvi will continue to lead WKFC and AgRisk as part of the merged entity.

Hub International Limited (HUB) has appointed Fran Scott as national health & performance practice leader. In this role, Scott will lead strategic initiatives aimed at providing health and wellness solutions to employee benefits clients across North America.
Scott joined the company in 2020 as health and performance practice leader for the central and west regions. She has worked in the health and wellness industry for more than 25 years. She began her career in corporate fitness before shifting to employee well-being. Before joining HUB, she managed programs for Fortune 500 companies.
