King Risk Partners has announced the acquisition of the Kerr Agency Inc., an independent insurance agency based in Simsbury, Conn.

The acquisition expands King Risk Partners’ presence in the Northeast and is part of its broader strategy to grow through partnerships with established agencies.

The Kerr Agency has provided insurance services to clients in Simsbury and across Connecticut since 1927. The firm offers personal and business insurance solutions and has built long-term client relationships.

Malcolm King, CEO of King Risk Partners, highlighted the acquisition as a main driver to boost its presence in Connecticut while enhancing its ability to serve clients in the region.

Craig Kubasek of the Kerr Agency said the partnership will allow the firm to expand its personal and business insurance offerings while maintaining service standards for clients.
