National program administrator and broker Landy Agency is launching a new crime program, which offers coverage to firms against fraudulent acts committed by employees.

Underwritten by Great American Insurance Group, the new insurance program features low minimum premiums. Intended for small- and medium-sized businesses, the coverage is admitted in all states and is provided by an “A+” (Superior) A.M. Best rated carrier.

A release said that the coverage includes sub-limits for employee dishonesty, forgery or alteration, computer fraud, money & securities, loss of client’s property from employee dishonesty, and funds transfer fraud. Coverage for social engineering is also included with the program, at $100,000 and with higher limits available.

Landy Agency’s new program is suited for a “wide variety of business classes,” a company release said. Firms with three or more employees, or independent contractors, are eligible for the program. A three-year policy option is available for firms interested in the program.

Landy Agency offers other professional insurance programs, such as professional liability, cyber and crime, D&O, as well as risk management services.
