The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Martin Loth as executive board member.

Loth (pictured above) has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience. He served as president and CEO of BB&T Insurance Services of California for 13 years until his retirement in 2019. Prior to BB&T, Loth held senior leadership positions at various international brokerage firms. He has served as a board member of CS University Northridge’s College of Business and Economics, TPC, and Volunteers of America Southwest.

“I am excited to join Liberty’s board,” Loth said. “The business model established by [co-founders Bill Johnson and Jerry Pickett] is compelling and the culture based on integrity and inclusion is outstanding. I look forward to lending my experience towards Liberty’s future success.”

The Liberty Company, based in Los Angeles, Calif., is one of the fastest-growing privately-held insurance brokers in the United States.
