McClelland & Hine (MHI) has hired Micayla Brooks to serve as the company’s newest director of business development.
Brooks will be based in MHI’s San Antonio branch, a release said.
Brooks is a graduate of Tarleton State University, having earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in 2002, majoring in public relations and marketing. She has more than 10 years of marketing and sales experience in the insurance advertising space – seven of those years were spent serving insurance companies, law firms, corporations, and small businesses.
“As director of business development, Micayla is an outstanding addition to our sales force. With her dedication and vast experience, she will bring a tighter focus on customer relationships to our team,” commented MHI senior vice-president, San Antonio branch manager Lorrie Cheshier.
“MHI has earned a reputation as a foremost provider of specialty and surplus lines throughout the state. Because MHI was recently acquired by Worldwide Facilities, we have a tremendous opportunity for growth and diversification of our markets,” remarked Brooks. “I couldn’t be more excited to join this incredibly experienced MHI team and I am looking forward to participating in the blending of these two exceptional companies.”
MHI is division of Worldwide Facilities; the MGA and wholesale insurance broker was acquired in September to diversify Worldwide Facilities’ product offering, as well as to broaden the company’s geographical footprint.
