Registration is now open for Dive In, the insurance industry’s diversity and inclusion festival, at diveinfestival.com. Dive In will take place from September 22-24. Due to the festival’s new virtual format, participants will now be able to attend any one of more than 90 events taking place in more than 30 countries. Each event has a capacity of 600 to 1,500, making it the most accessible diversity and inclusion festival in the world.

The festival will cover some of the most pressing topics in diversity and inclusion. Scheduled events will tackle subjects such as flexible working, allyship, gender identity, white privilege, social mobility, and mental and physical health.

Speakers and facilitators include Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh; RMS CEO Karen White; former UK education secretary Justine Greening; Helen Sharman, the first British astronaut; TV presenters Naga Munchetty and June Sarpong; Australian inspirational speaker and endurance athlete Turia Pitt; Dutch comedian Jörgen Raymann; Dive In founder, Portfolio director and global speaker Dame Inga Beale; Guardian CEO Deanna Mulligan; inspirational speaker and bestselling author Kelly McDonald; Ben and Jerry’s CEO Matthew McCarthy; and Grammy award-winning and Oscar-nominated songwriter Siedah Garrett.

This year’s theme is “Local Voice, Global Impact”, which highlights the role local voices play in global change. Festival attendees were invited to take part in Dive In’s video campaign discussing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on diversity and inclusion globally. The videos aired on Dive In social media channels throughout July.

Australia, Bermuda, Canada, China, France, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States are each celebrating their fifth year of hosting the festival. Dive In is supported by a host of global partners including AIG, Aon, Aviva, AXA, Chubb, CNA, DLA Piper, Kennedys, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh & Guy Carpenter, MS Amlin, RenaissanceRe, RMS, Travelers, Tokio Marine Kiln, and Willis Towers Watson. Insurance Business is a media partner for the event.

“This year’s festival is shaping up to have the largest impact to date,” said Dive In for the Americas co-chairs Margaret Resce Milkint of the Jacobson Group, Day Bishop of Willis Towers Watson, and industry talent catalyst Noelle Codispoti. “Festival-goers around the world will be able to listen to a variety of speakers with truly unique experiences and a myriad of diversity, equity and inclusion topics.”
