In a company release published Monday, RLI Corp. announced that it has promoted Dan Meyer to the position of president for the company’s Transportation Division.

Meyer succeeds Dave Dunn, the former division president who recently stepped down.

“For the past 16 years, Dan has made significant contributions to the growth and profitability of the RLI Transportation Division. Before joining RLI, Meyer was a partner and civil litigation attorney with Savell & Williams, LLC.

He is a graduate of George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in English. He received his juris doctor from Emory University School of Law.
