Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has announced that Katie Davies has been appointed as president and CEO of a new property catastrophe managing underwriting facility that will be exclusive to RT Specialty.
RSG said that the new facility was “a major commitment to RT brokers and their clients,” and would provide additional capacity. The facility will underwrite all types of property exposure, and will also feature a strong catastrophe component, the company said.
“Katie Davies is a highly respected leader and one of the best property minds in the country,” RSG said in a statement. “With her leadership, we are confident that she will attract additional top decile underwriting talent to develop and build out this new facility.”
