Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”) has confirmed its participation as a partner with Insurance Business’s Hall of Fame and Hot 100 special reports.

Founded in 1896, the Big “I” is the US’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers. It represents over 25,000 agency locations under the Trusted Choice® brand, where independent agents offer all types of insurance – property, casualty, life, health, employee benefit plans, and retirement products – from various insurance companies. Additionally, it provides independent insurance agents and brokers with a sustainable competitive advantage in the insurance market by equipping them with tools and resources, advocacy, and support to maintain excellence in business and customer service.

The sixth annual Hall of Fame special report recognizes industry pioneers and leaders with over 35 years in the industry. Nominees should demonstrate history of distinguished service to the insurance profession, the leadership and inspiration they provided to others in the sector, their role in guiding future generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders, their contributions to the leadership and direction of industry associations, and any visionary strategies and innovations that have made an outstanding contribution to the industry as a whole. The winners will be selected by an independent advisory panel of industry leaders and previous Hall of Fame honorees.

The eight annual Hot 100 special report will celebrate industry movers and shakers whose contributions have helped shape the insurance industry over the past 12 months - from innovators at the forefront of change to leaders who are transforming the way the industry does business and more.
