Trusted Choice, the consumer branding program of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (the Big “I”), has unveiled its latest offering, the Hard Market Toolkit.

The toolkit aims to support member agencies in navigating the current insurance landscape and effectively communicating with clients about the complexities of the market.

As insurance premiums continue to rise in the challenging economic climate, the Hard Market Toolkit equips member agencies with practical solutions and expert guidance to explain the reasons behind these increases to their clients, the Big “I” said. The toolkit assists agencies in preparing their clients for renewal time, managing coverage changes or restrictions brought on by the hard market, and effectively conveying the impact of rising premiums.

“In these market conditions, independent agents’ roles as trusted advisors to their clients is more important than ever, and we understand the challenges that agencies face as they serve their communities under these difficult circumstances," said Charles Symington, Big “I” executive vice president. "Our commitment is to support Big ‘I’ members every step of the way. The Hard Market Toolkit equips Trusted Choice agents with the resources to meet their clients’ evolving needs.”

The digital Hard Market Toolkit offers a range of features to enhance client communications, including customizable email scripts, talking points, frequently asked questions, a communication timeline, sample renewal process materials, remarketing strategies, and creative assets tailored to each agency’s unique brand. The toolkit was curated with input from a team of veteran Big “I” member agents, drawing from their diverse experiences in hard markets.
