Military insurer USAA is expanding its Plano, Texas, campus to eventually house up to 700 additional employees.

The San Antonio-based insurer already has a two-building complex in Plano with around 400 workers, according to the Dallas Morning News.

But the company has filed plans for a new, four-story building to be constructed next to the existing offices. USAA bought the space – a former AT&T campus in Plano’s Legacy business park – in 2013.

Plano and the state of Texas provided millions of dollars to USAA to help establish the complex, which the insurer said would eventually house 700 workers, according to the report. After 12 months, however, the insurer terminated the incentive agreement with the city and state and returned the incentives it had received.

The 150,000-square-foot building will be joined by a parking garage with room for more than 700 vehicles.
