USI announces Indiana acquisition

The insurance group has bought a 90-year-old P/C, employee benefits and personal lines service based in Terre Haute

USI Insurance Services announced this week that it has acquired Forest Sherer Insurance, Inc. from First Financial Corporation.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Terre Haute, Indiana-based Forest Sherer has been in business for over 90 years offering property-casualty, employee benefits and personal risk services.

With the transaction closed, Forrest Sherer employees will continue to operate from their current locations in Terre Haute and Evansville, Indiana.
