NFP has announced the integration of its surety practice into its construction and infrastructure (C&I) group.

As a result of this move, John Hyland, recently appointed as managing director, will join David Bowcott and Adrian Pellen as co-leaders of the C&I Group. Thomas Henn will assume the role of surety leader, US, and become a member of the C&I Executive Leadership Group.

Meanwhile, John Stewart will continue his role as surety leader, Canada. Additionally, regional surety leaders have been appointed, including Ihab Loubieh (West), Robert Laing (Northeast and Atlantic), and Aaron Hawley (Central).

Henry Lombardi, EVP of Property and Casualty at NFP, emphasized the significance of Surety within clients' risk management solutions. This integration aims to create alignment that strengthens relationships with insurance carriers, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures consistency and quality in client service.

“With the integration of our surety team into the C&I Group, we are continuing to align our collective offerings to ensure our clients are receiving a holistic approach to risk advisory. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and the ongoing collaboration that enhances the value we deliver to clients,” Lombardi said.

Recently, the prominent P&C broker also announced the addition of Amanda Wescott to its Risk and Insurance Strategy Collective (RISC), with Wescott being named vice president and director of US captive management operations within RISC.
