Global insurance broker Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of First Florida Insurance. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Jupiter, Fla., First Florida Insurance is an independent insurance agency that provides clients, including high-net-worth individuals, with personal lines insurance. The firm offers a wide variety of products, including auto, home and estates, yachts and watercraft, jewelry, fine arts and collectibles, and umbrella insurance.

Jeff Platz, founder and president of First Florida Insurance, and his team will join the Hub Florida region.

The deal is the latest in Hub’s ongoing acquisition spree. Earlier this week, the company announced that it had snapped up Oregon-based Ward Insurance.
