Argo Pro, a member of Argo Group International Holdings, has announced the appointment of Thomas Bongi as senior vice president of underwriting and head of architects and engineers and miscellaneous professional liability. Bongi will report to Argo Pro President Craig Landi.

“Tom has a longstanding track record of building and growing profitable books of business,” Landi said. “As we de-emphasize our focus on cyber insurance, Tom will apply his depth of knowledge in the more traditional areas of professional liability risk management. We’re looking forward to working with him on our plans for the future, especially in this hardening market.”

Bongi has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Argo, he served as executive vice president for professional liability at Brit Global Specialty USA.
