Independent crowdsourced ratings and review platform Clearsurance has released a statement celebrating its key milestones for mid-2018.

The company reported that, as of July 02, it has 76 insurance company subscribers on its platform. Clearsurance has also received more than 105,000 crowdsourced insurance customer reviews.

“Customers are coming to Clearsurance to learn from the experiences of other policyholders as a way to short-cut the time and energy required to understand the best choices available to them when shopping for car, home or renters insurance,” explained Clearsurance co-founder and CEO Michael Crow.

Earlier this year, Clearsurance launched a paid subscription service option for insurers; the service would allow them to better understand customer sentiments via analytics, benchmark their results against their competitors, and to promote an independent customer rating to improve customer satisfaction and increase conversions.

As of July 02, four insurance companies are live as paid subscribers, and over 20 others are in various stages of implementation, Clearsurance said in a release.

“The insurance industry engagement has been amazing, which really validates the commitment of many insurance companies to improve transparency, along with a renewed focus on technology to drive better engagement and enhance the customer journey,” commented Crowe.

Some of the more notable insurers who are subscribed to Clearsurance include tech-focused startups such as Root, Hippo, and Lemonade. Other, more established brands have also signed up to the platform, like Liberty Mutual, Allstate, Auto-Owners, and The General.

Clearsurance announced that it will soon release its company profile pages for the leading online marketplaces, including Coverhound, Compare, and Quote Wizard. The platform will also soon release its agent and agency review and rating tool.
