The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) has announced a strategic partnership with Globlue Technologies, a global provider of anti-insurance fraud analytics.

Under the partnership, member companies of the non-profit NICB and customers of Globlue will both have access to NICB information to better combat fraud, via Globlue’s ARKHOS Data Fusion intelligence platform.

ARKHOS Data Fusion is a platform that gives users a comprehensive view of any party of interest. It integrates customer’s existing internal data with external third-party intelligence for visibility into investigations. ARKHOS Data Fusion will host the NICB+ stream – a real time stream that applies identity resolution capabilities to NICB datasets. This allows insurance companies to perform live searches using the platform across NICB, internal claims data and external sources.

“We see this partnership as yet another positive step in helping our dual members have additional tools to combat the ongoing challenges associated with insurance fraud,” commented NICB president and CEO Joe Wehrle. “Mutual members will gain another advantage in the early detection and prevention of fraud.”

“Through this partnership mutual customers will leverage ARKHOS Data Fusion enhanced identity resolution, which provides advanced intelligence analytical capabilities to bring carrier’s investigative data, third-party data and NICB data together in a single dashboard, allowing analysts to perform advanced analysis in real time, accelerating the data-to-decision process, as it relates to fraud detection,” said Globlue Technologies president and CEO Adrian Silva.
