Paddy Bousfield

Patrick ‘Paddy’ Bousfield joined Howden Re in April 2024 as a Managing Director. He leads Howden Re’s Bermuda Specialty &  Casualty division as well as North American Cyber.

Prior to joining Howden Re, Paddy was a Senior Broker and Chair of Lockton’s Cyber Center (LCC), leading Lockton Re Bermuda’s Non-Property segments (Cyber, Specialty and Casualty). Previously to that Paddy founded the Gallagher Re (Capsicum Re) US Office and was an original member of the Cyber team in London. He began his 15 year career in Canada with Beach & Associates before relocating to London and Sydney. He has experience placing, Property Cat, Casualty & Specialty business and has focused the last 10 years on Cyber reinsurance/Retro solutions.
