iA Financial Group has announced that its iA Dealer Services division has been chosen to be the administrator of the extended protection programs of Hyundai Motor Company and Genesis Motor – the luxury marque of Hyundai – in Canada.
Hyundai and Genesis’ Extended Protection Programs integrate products such as extended warranties, replacement insurance, guaranteed asset and payment protection programs, with a range of other ancillary products. These products will be administered by iA Dealer Services beginning March 01, 2023.
A company release added that a lease-end protection product will be released ahead of iA’s programs on October 01, 2022.
"We are delighted that Hyundai and Genesis Canada have placed their confidence in us,” said iA Dealer Services senior vice president Gwen Gareau. “Hyundai and Genesis together are among the most dynamic and fast-growing brands in Canada. They are also very advanced in their electrical vehicle lineup and roadmap, which is in line with our vision of sustainable development.”
Gareau added that iA Dealer Services already works with nearly 50% of the Hyundai retailers and Genesis distributors across Canada – and about 73% of the retailers in Quebec.

The iA Dealer Services team has over 525 employees and 2.1 million insured individuals. Its products are offered via a nationwide direct distribution network of 4,800 auto and motor vehicle dealers, OEMs, and preferred partnerships.
