Charles Taylor – provider of professional services and technology solutions for insurers – has promoted Michael Guy and Dallas Hirsche to the roles of managing director and regional head of Canada, as well as deputy managing director and deputy regional head of Canada, respectively.

According to the firm, the appointments reflect the growth of Charles Taylor’s adjusting business in Canada, as well as the company’s strategy to bring strong talent to the leadership team.

Guy has been with Charles Taylor for more than 11 years, most recently serving as vice president and branch manager of Charles Taylor Adjusting. He has expertise working on a number of large and complex losses across Canada involving property damage/business interruption, gas storage, construction risks, pollution as well as cyber. He began his career as an independent insurance adjuster in 1996.

In his new role as managing director and regional head of Canada, Guy will report to Charles Taylor Adjusting CEO Damian Ely.

Hirsche has spent more than 20 years with Charles Taylor, having previously served as senior vice president and Calgary office manager of Charles Taylor Adjusting. He has experience in handling significant energy and industrial losses across Canada, in the US, and internationally. He kickstarted his career as a general adjuster in British Columbia in 1991.

“With their strong track record of success within our adjusting business, I’m pleased to welcome both Michael and Dallas to their new roles in our Canadian leadership team,” said Charles Taylor Adjusting CEO Damian Ely.
