Hub International’s insurance acquisition spree continues, with the purchase of Cottenie and Gardner.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cottenie and Gardner is a full-service independent insurance brokerage based in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. The brokerage offers personal and commercial insurance solutions. In particular, it provides specialized solutions for government auto and farming.
The co-owners of Cottenie and Gardner, Ted Gardner and Les Fedorak, will be joining Hub International Manitoba Limited as part of the deal, a release said.

Last month, Hub acquired the assets of Clarity Benefits Group, a Calgary-based firm that provides employee benefit plans, life insurance, and group retirement plans to both large and small companies.
