iA Financial Group has appointed Ginette Maillé as a director of both the iA Financial Corporation and Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services.
As director, Maillé will join iA Financial’s audit committee.
Since 2017, she has been serving as vice-president of finance and administration and chief financial officer for Aéroports de Montréal. Over the past 14 years, Maillé has also held senior management finance and accounting positions at Yellow Pages Ltd.
In addition to her considerable expertise, Maillé holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
A release said that the two boards of directors at iA Financial Corporation and Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services – both chaired by Jacques Martin – now each have 12 members. Eleven (11) of those members are independent directors, and women make up 42% of the boards’ membership.
