Having already held the role of chief operating officer, Eric Osborne will soon take the hotseat at Toronto-based Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc.

From November 01, he will take the position of president and CEO. Shawn DeSantis will become chairman while maintaining his position as president and CEO of Navacord Inc, for which Jones DesLauriers is a broker partner.

“Eric is the perfect person to lead Jones DesLauriers into the next phase of our journey,” said Shawn DeSantis. “His time as chief operating officer has given him tremendous insight into our business, and, coupled with his passion for the success of our team members and clients, will help us win in the marketplace.”

Overall, Osborne boasts 15 years of insurance experience – including in such positions as commercial underwriting for a multinational insurer and leading a brokerage in northern Ontario.
