AXA XL taps expert to lead Canadian client distribution

AXA XL, the property and casualty and specialty risk division of AXA, has announced the appointment of Robert Roughley as the client & distribution leader for Canada via a press release.

Based in Toronto, Roughley (pictured) will report to Jonathan Ashall, head of distribution, client management, and delegated authority for Canada.

In welcoming the new addition to the team, Ashall said, "We are excited to add Rob to our team. His experience and expertise across property, casualty, and engineering will be of great value to our clients and brokerage partners as we look to continue to grow our platform across Canada."

Roughley brings over 25 years of experience in insurance and engineering, with a majority of that time spent at Zurich Insurance Group. Prior to joining AXA XL, he served as national client relationship manager at Aviva Canada.
