Lauren studied a double degree in journalism and political communication at the University of Canberra, where she made national headlines in Australia for writing about the university’s stance on Freedom of Information requests.

Lauren has previously worked as a journalist for The CEO Magazine, MailOnline and the Centralian Advocate in Alice Springs, Australia. Her freelance work has been published worldwide including by VICE, Metro.co.uk, NewsCorp and the Rhodes Journalism Review.
