The before-the-event (BTE) sales team at ARAG has welcomed two new members.
Announcing the appointment of the account managers, the legal expenses and assistance provider said Paul Harvey and Chris Clacy will be in charge of broker relationships in the North and South East of England, respectively. Harvey’s remit includes insurance intermediaries in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The two bring a combined more than three decades of insurance industry experience – with Clacy having worked for over 10 years at the likes of A-Plan Insurance, Zurich, A-One Insurance Group, and Markel; and Harvey at more than 20 at firms such as Provident Insurance, NFU Mutual, Iprism Underwriting Agency, and Incorporated Insurance Group Limited or IIGL.
“These are two great additions to our broker account management team,” commented Matt Warren, UK sales manager at ARAG.
Warren noted: “Both Paul and Chris have plenty of experience in the insurance industry – which is always a great start – but they have also seen the market from all sides, having worked with and for insurers, brokers, and MGAs.”
