Bravo Group concludes whitepaper series

Insurance News

By Paul Lucas

The fourth and final part of Bravo Group’s whitepaper series has now been released.

The latest edition, which features contributions from across the business, examines how brokers, third-party providers and insurers have used technology to adapt to the COVID-19 landscape. In particular, it looks at resilience, how technology has accelerated, and checks in with Acturis to see how it overcame its own challenges. Acturis had to move over 800 people across six countries to homeworking while maintaining a consistent service, and co-CEO Theo Duchen is among those to speak on how brokers can use technology to expand their possibilities.

Also featured are head of group IT Richard King, systems consultancy manager Carl Chapman and MD of networks and products, Jaime Swindle.

“The potential has always been there, and now is the right time to confront the possibilities of streamlining processes. In this whitepaper, we wanted to demonstrate what that journey has looked like for different businesses, and what the future could hold for each,” said Swindle.

“What readers will take from this final whitepaper in the series is that no-one found the transition at the beginning of the year straightforward, but as Theo Duchen says in his interview, ‘when you get lemons, you make lemonade!’” added chief financial officer Simon Drew. “I think acknowledging this will give businesses some reassurance that we were all figuring this out together and supported each other as best we could. Everyone should feel proud of this and hopeful of new opportunities born out of the crisis which lie ahead.”
