Woodgate & Clark has appointed Kevin Dinsdale as senior loss adjuster for the loss adjusting firm’s major and complex loss team.

In his new role, Dinsdale will handle a mixed portfolio of major and complex material damage and business interruption claims. He will be based in Leicester and will report to Woodgate & Clark director of major loss Nick Michell and operations director Graeme Fitzpatrick.

Dinsdale joins Woodgate & Clark from Crawford, where he served for over seven years as a senior loss adjuster. He is also a Chartered Surveyor, and is a graduate of De Montfort University and Nottingham Trent University – where he, respectively, earned his bachelor of law and bachelor of science – quantity surveying degrees.

“Woodgate & Clark has a great reputation for investing in and nurturing its loss adjusters, and I was also attracted by their commitment to individual client servicing so that clients feel they are in the hands of experienced people who really understand each claim,” commented Dinsdale, who added that working for a specialist business is “highly attractive,” and that he was impressed with Woodgate & Clark’s commitment to fostering a family culture throughout the organisation.

“Being part of a smaller team will enable me to make a visible contribution to the overall success of the business,” the senior loss adjuster said.

“We are determined to build out our major and complex loss adjusting team by attracting the best UK talent,” said Fitzpatrick.

“Experience really counts in our profession, as it gives our insurer clients and their customers peace of mind that complex cases are being handled by highly qualified experts with the appropriate skill set, both in terms of qualifications but also excellent soft skills to deal empathetically with clients who may have lost everything.”

Fitzpatrick has stated that Woodgate & Clark “[remains] keen to talk to experienced adjusters and surveyors looking for their next career move.”
