Applied Systems provides cloud-based software products for insurance automation and brokerage management. Among its prominent products and services are:

  • Epic: An agency and brokerage management system that enables businesses to optimize processes for growth and to build client relationships.
  • TAM: An agency management software that allows agencies to manage day-to-day business operations.
  • DORIS: An online agency management system that provides access to fundamental features, functions, and workflows needed to run an agency, including automated interface with various insurance carriers
  • Vision: Enables agencies to manage complex business structures and complicated commercial lines of coverage, specialty lines of business, or non-traditional niche markets.
  • Performance Management: Accesses, aggregates, and analyzes multiple sources of raw data. Mobile Producer: A mobile insurance application for producers that brings client, policy, and sales information to iPad or Android tablets. IVANS: The company provides a cloud-based data exchange solution that enables insurers to efficiently exchange data with agencies and MGAs directly into their management systems, ensuring timely service for partners and insureds.

Indio: Indio is a cloud-based platform designed to help commercial insurance agents, brokers, and agencies digitize insurance application and renewal processes. It uses “smart form technology” to streamline the insurance form data gathering process and to digitally submit the application with a single click.

EZLynx: The firm provides a cloud-based software that allows insurance agencies to organize and store customers’ policies, quotes, documents, and other information in a centralized repository.

Tarmika: This single-entry tool helps streamline the commercial quoting process, enabling insurers to expand distribution channels and gain new business.

Leadership at Applied Systems

Taylor Rhodes – chief executive officer

Rhodes joined Applied Systems in 2019 after serving as CEO of SMS Assist, a leading cloud-based software platform for multi-site property management. Prior to this, he was also CEO of Rackspace, where he led the company’s growth from a cloud pioneer to an industry leader with more than $2 billion dollars in revenue, while establishing the company as a mainstay on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.

Rhodes has served several financial, and corporate strategy roles at Electronic Data Systems Corporation. He is a former US Marine Corps infantry officer and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Rhodes serves on the board of directors for Applied, Zenoss and Liquid Web, LLC.
