Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty (SHP&C) has announced the acquisition of Transway Insurance Agency. Headquartered in Houston, Transway Insurance specializes in business and trucking insurance in Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Florida.

The acquisition strengthens SHP&C’s commercial trucking insurance platform, the company said.

The firm added that it continues to target high-quality independent agencies for geographic expansion and continued growth throughout the country. SHP&C offers:

  • Home and auto insurance
  • Commercial insurance
  • Private client insurance
  • Payroll, group health and employer benefits

“With the acquisition of Transway Insurance Agency, we bring aboard decades of trucking sales and service experience,” said Marshall Seeman, president of SHP&C.

“The team at Transway will be instrumental in helping us expand our national trucking insurance division,” said Brett Williams, SHP&C executive vice president.
