Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Ian Shada as vice president within its employee benefits group in Omaha, Nebraska.

In his new role, Shada will be responsible for devising and executing comprehensive employee benefits programs for clients across the Midwest, Southwest, and Southern regions.

Prior to joining Alliant, Shada held the position of agency principal at a Nebraska-based employee benefits firm. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients from various industries, including leading business development efforts for a major telecommunications company. He brings expertise in handling home, auto, commercial, life, and disability policies.

“Ian has built a strong reputation as someone who can get things done, build strong client relationships, and advocate on behalf of the businesses he supports,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “He is focused on helping his clients and their employees perform at the highest possible level.”

Shada is the latest in a string of hires by Alliant. Earlier this month, the company announced the appointment of Mark Beilein as vice president in its Alliant Americas division. Last month, the company announced the appointments of Elliott Stovall and Adam Rieman as vice presidents in its employee benefits division. In March, Alliant added Frank Verdi and Gerry Armbruster to the employee benefits team.
