Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Greg Sanford as a vice president within its Alliant Americas division. In his new role, Sanford will serve a nationwide client base.

Prior to joining Alliant, Sanford served as managing advisor with a national independent strategic risk and insurance advisory firm. He has broad expertise on commercial insurance and risk management across a spectrum of industry, and is experienced in the design, placement and servicing of large, complex and catastrophe-exposed property risks, Alliant said.

“Greg works alongside his clients, developing long-term relationships and customized insurance programs that meet their unique risks and exposures,” said Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant. “By serving as an extension of his clients’ businesses, he is able to deliver innovative solutions that mitigate risk and align with their long-term goals and objectives.”

In addition to his insurance career, Sanford does non-profit work for the PTSD Foundation of America and is a member of Oilfield Helping Hands’ Houston chapter. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Houston.

Sanford is the latest addition to Alliant’s growing roster of talent. Earlier this month, the national broker announced the appointment of Missouri-based Ann DiPasquale as a senior vice president within its employee benefits group and New York-headquartered Marc Fells as a senior vice president at Alliant Specialty.
