Specialized large account insurance broker Beecher Carlson Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Kevin Humphrey to its executive liability practice as managing director of trade credit and political risk. Humphrey will be based in Beecher Carlson’s Denver office and will report to Jeff Lattmann, executive managing director.

Humphrey has more than 25 years of experience in trade credit and finance. He specializes in trade credit solutions for large corporate and mid-market clients.

“We are excited to expand and enhance our capabilities in the trade credit and political risk space as we continue to invest in delivering a robust executive liability offering to the marketplace,” said Joe Siech, CEO of Beecher Carlson. “Kevin’s experience, coupled with the existing capabilities and knowledge of our team, will serve as an immense benefit to our clients as we continue to revolutionize the way they identify, quantify, mitigate and finance risk.”

Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Humphrey served as area vice president for trade credit and political risk at a large risk management and insurance brokerage firm. He also worked to develop e-commerce credit insurance applications.

“We look forward to Kevin’s contributions to the Beecher Carlson team,” Lattmann said. “Kevin’s professional background makes him the ideal person to deliver new services and strategies to meet our clients’ growing business needs.”
