FastLife Insurance, a life insurance company based in Florida, has selected country singer Billy Ray Cyrus to serve as its official spokesperson.

The 56-year-old celebrity is scheduled to appear in a variety of television, radio, and social media spots that promote FastLife – a life insurer that does not require medical exams from consumers.

“I am honored to b‎e associated with such a great and reputable company like FastLife. Helping people help themselves and their families, that’s cool,” Cyrus said in a statement.

“Billy Ray Cyrus is the ultimate family man and I have the utmost amount of respect for him and his incredible values,” commented FastLife CEO and founder Phillip Wasserman. “With FastLife’s underlying mission to help people protect their loved ones through insurance, we couldn’t think of a better person to be the face of our company and we’re very excited to be working with him.”

Billboard obtained an exclusive first look at Billy Ray Cyrus’s planned television spots, and reported that the ads were produced by former Paramount Studios president Mark Bakshi, known for films such as Moneyball and Foxcatcher.

“I’m delighted to be producing these spots for FastLife and to be working with Billy Ray, who I deeply admire and have been a big fan of for many years,” said Bakshi.

“Regardless of health or wealth – if you’re like me, protecting the ones you love is a top priority,” Cyrus remarks in one of the TV ads.
