Insurance Business is conducting a survey to gauge industry perceptions about flood insurance.

The report aims to glean insights and predictions about flood risk, flood types, flood mapping, regulation and coverage gaps across the US commercial insurance market.

“We want to find out what insurance professionals on the ground think about the future of flood insurance in the US,” said researcher Lauren Counce.

“Last year the focus of the industry was squarely on the NFIP.”

This year, she says that it seems concerns are changing and the tide is turning.

Readers are being encouraged to complete the survey to have their say on flood products and the flood market.
