As an assistant vice-president, Caplan will help grow the casualty division of Worldwide Facilities, while continuing to cultivate his relationships with standard markets and wholesalers, a release said.

Caplan brings with him almost 20 years of insurance industry experience, specializing in construction, real estate, products, life sciences, and cargo. He joins from the insurance firm Foa & Son, where he spent seven years as an assistant vice-president of marketing.

He is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University.
