Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM), the largest mutual insurer dedicated to wood-related businesses, has introduced a new cyber liability offering.

PLM’s new Cyber Suite provides five types of insurance coverage, including:
  • Data compromise response coverage
  • Computer attack coverage
  • Cyber extortion coverage
  • Data compromise liability coverage
  • Network security liability coverage
Insureds will also receive access to risk management and computer diagnostic resources such as eRiskHub, an online portal that helps business owners prepare for and respond to cyberattacks.

“Though we all hear about the big data breaches, cyber risks are an increasing threat to small and mid-sized businesses as well – and the lumber and building-materials industries are no exception,” said John Smith, PLM president and CEO. “Our Cyber Suite offering can help cushion our insureds against the expensive and time-consuming task of recovering from cyberattacks and data breaches.”

PLM’s Cyber Suite will be available to all its property policyholders.
