Trident Marine Managers (TMM), a specialty marine and offshore energy managing general underwriter, has announced that it has appointed a new director of underwriting and opened a new office.
Jeana Ramos has been appointed to the role of director of underwriting. In her new role, she will continue to focus on commercial marine and excess & surplus lines.
Originally joining TMM in September 2019, she has over 25 years of professional experience. Her expertise includes the commercial and recreational marine sector, along with E&S lines insurance. In 2005, Ramos opened Continental Risk/Continental Marine Insurance Services where she built a book of E&S and marine focused business throughout the US.
“I am delighted that Jeana has joined our team,” said Trident Marine managing director Martin Hayes. “Her market knowledge and experience will be vital to our success as we continue to strengthen our presence in the US market.”
In addition to the new appointment, TMM has established a new office in Lodi, CA.
