Keystone Insurers Group, the fourth-largest participant-owned insurance agency network in the nation, has announced the appointment of Anthony Mitchell as its corporate director of marketing.

In his new role, Mitchell will focus on developing and implementing corporate marketing plans to increase brand awareness, reach prospective customers, drive current customer engagement and create new sales opportunities.

Mitchell has held numerous roles in the insurance industry, including as an independent agency owner and director of digital agency consulting with State Auto. Most recently, he worked to develop a strategy and execution into the marketplace for Caregiven, an app dedicated to providing resources to those providing physical, social, emotional or financial support to a loved one.

“Anthony has a rich combination of industry experience, marketing expertise, and sheer fire in the belly,” said Beth Bedisky, chief marketing officer for Keystone. “Together with his data-driven approach and success on both the agency and carrier side, he made the logical choice for this position. I’m excited to have Anthony on board and help generate organic growth for both Keystone and its agents.”
