History of Lloyd Sadd

Lloyd Sadd was founded in 1941 and is based in Western Canada. In 2015, then-president and CEO T. Marshall Sadd, became a founding partner of Navacord, a network of independent brokers.

Chris Huebner – President & CEO
Lloyd Sadd’s current leader came into the role in September 2019, though he has been with the firm for more than 23 years across a variety of positions. A release announcing his promotion stated that he had “developed a passion for delivering a superior client experience” and that he believes that strong leaders should be “coaches and mentors.”

Huebner has been president of Lloyd Sadd since 2015. In fact, he has been with the company since graduating from the University of Alberta in 1995. While Huebner originally thought his first position would be a stepping stone to another career, he got bit by the insurance and risk management bug, and worked to become a partner and an integral member of the Lloyd Sadd team. Huebner has also gained his Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional and Canadian Risk Management designations.

Lloyd Sadd supports various charitable initiatives in its communities. Each year, the company has raised over $50,000 for local and regional charities through internal events, including its summer barbecue series, Food Bank fundraisers, and casual dress Fridays, in addition to external event sponsorship and participation.
