Award nominations are open to individual brokers or brokerage organizations using Keal solutions. The purpose of the awards is to give recognition to broker clients across Canada.
The Kealy Awards credits excellence achieved by brokerages in three separate categories:
- Community Involvement: Awarded to a client who exemplifies the virtues of a good corporate citizen by making a difference in their community through fund-raising, volunteering, and other similar initiatives.
- Technology: Awarded to a client who optimizes technology to gain a competitive edge. This award solutes early adopters of technology, not necessarily users of Keal products and solutions. For example, it recognizes handlers of social media, call recording, etc.
- Brokerage Operations: Awarded to a client who is considered to be the “Keal Solutions Champion”. It is a broker client that fully utilizes Keal’s collection of solutions to drive measurable results through growth, retention and efficiency.

McDougall Insurance – Excellence in Community Involvement
The staff at McDougall Insurance believes creating relationships and being a part of the local community is vital. With over 150 volunteering and sponsoring events each year, they have certainly made their mark in the community. McDougall Insurance believes in giving back, and does so through the McDougall Family Fund. Non-profit organizations are asked to submit a two-minute video on McDougall’s Facebook page stating who they are, what they do, and how they would use the funds given by McDougall providing that they win. McDougall Insurance has hosted this campaign for four years and has awarded $10,000 in 2017 to the top three winners. It is their everlasting generosity that allows McDougall insurance so stand out in its community.
Knight Archer Insurance - Excellence in Technology
Knight Archer has been recognized by the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) as a leader in technology, continuously embracing innovation and change.
