Acera Insurance Services has partnered with M.E.F. Services, a boutique firm specializing in estate planning and group benefits solutions, in a move to bolster its specialty benefits division.
Tony Fairfield, president of group benefits at Acera Insurance, highlighted the firm’s client-focused approach and commended the work of its founder, Stephen Melling.
“Stephen Melling has built a solid reputation in Lethbridge and the area for his client-focused approach,” said Fairfield. “Acera Benefits looks forward to carrying on this tradition centred around our shared value of putting people first, as well as offering expanded solutions and options to local businesses.”
M.E.F. Services is based in Lethbridge, Alberta and serves clients in and around the area. Its deal with Acera closed on March 1, 2024.
Melling, who also serves as the firm’s president, shared his optimism about the partnership and highlighted the opportunities it brings to southern Alberta.
“I look forward to working with the Acera Benefits team in serving the needs of our clients and expanding the customized solutions available to the people and businesses of Lethbridge and area, all while continuing to offer the same trustworthy, personalized service,” he said.
Acera Benefits is a specialized consulting team within Acera Insurance that helps Canadian employers create tailored employee benefits plans.
Earlier this year, Acera partnered with KRS Insurance Brokers, an Ontario-based firm serving the expanding Canadian pet care and beauty industries.
