Arch Insurance International (Arch), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arch Capital Group Ltd, has appointed Linda Daly as its new senior underwriter for executive assurance, effective immediately.

Daly is a highly skilled underwriter with nearly 20 years of insurance experience. Before joining Arch, she spent 10 years at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, most recently as a senior underwriter. She was also an underwriter at Ryan Specialty Europe and HCC Global Financial Products.

In her new role, Daly will join Arch's commercial and D&O division, led by executive assurance head Michael Chu, providing specialized insurance products across a range of market segments – including D&O, employment practices liability, and pension trust liability – and focusing on risks domiciled in the UK, Europe, Australia, and North America.

Commenting on the appointment, Chu commended Daly's expertise and commitment to building long-term relationships, making her an excellent addition to the commercial and D&O division.

“We are delighted to welcome Linda to the executive assurance team,” Chu said. “She will play a key role in maintaining our customer service-focused approach with our broking partners and helping achieve our growth ambitions.”

Daly's entrance to Arch follows the subsidiary's promotion of ceded reinsurance senior vice president Krista Bonneau to chief reinsurance and exposure officer early this month.
