Aviva Canada appoints new board members

Aviva Canada has announced that it has named two new board members – Monika Federau and Bill Bloom.

Federau has experience in strategy development, digital transformation, marketing and brand development, governance and ESG and social impact. She most recently served as SVP & chief strategy officer for Intact Financial Corporation. Federau is also a WXN Top 100 Canada’s Most Powerful Women 2019 recipient.

Bloom has over 30 years of experience in transforming companies and driving growth, a release said. He was most recently EVP of technology, data & analytics, claims, and operations at The Hartford. Before that, he was EVP of technology and operations for Travelers and was a partner at Accenture.
