It’s two in a week for BrokerLink. Just days after announcing its purchase of Ontario-based Impact Brokers Inc., the P&C insurance brokerage giant has revealed its acquisition of Alberta-based HDF Insurance Services Ltd., effective March 01, 2020.

Founded in 1998, HDF Insurance is an independent brokerage, with hubs in Edmonton and Whitecourt, Alberta. The brokerage has been providing insurance solutions to customers in Alberta and British Columbia for over 20 years, with niche expertise in liability and property insurance, errors and omissions, and life, health and disability insurance.

HDF Insurance president, Brenda Douglas, described BrokerLink as “the right fit for our customers and employees”. Following the deal, HDF Insurance employees will continue business as normal as part of the BrokerLink team. Douglas commented: “Our customers will continue to have an exceptional customer experience and our employees will benefit from BrokerLink’s resources and great reputation.”

Joe D’Annunzio, president of BrokerLink, added: “We’re excited to have HDF Insurance join the BrokerLink family. HDF Insurance has a long history of success in the community and we look forward to building on those strong relationships during the transition to BrokerLink.”
