Crawford & Company has appointed Robert Holmes (pictured) to serve as complex casualty practice leader in Canada.

As practice leader, Holmes will focus on driving revenue growth, broadening Crawford’s expertise, as well as delivering superior service and quality to the regional complex casualty practice.

Holmes has been a part of Crawford for more than 14 years, most recently serving as a senior general adjuster within the company’s global technical services team.

“We have a talented existing team of 27 professionals across the country with broad expertise in our complex casualty practice in Canada, and we are ready to formalize our service offering in the marketplace. We are excited to be launching this complex casualty practice and highlight the areas of expertise and talent across our organization,” said Crawford Claims Solutions Canada senior vice president Jim Eso.

Eso added that with Holmes leading the team, Crawford is well-positioned to become the embedded partner of choice for many of its clients in the region. He also stated that prioritizing the complex casualty practice “reinforces Crawford’s commitment to advancing [its] purpose of restoring and enhancing lives, businesses and communities.”

Earlier this month, Crawford third-party claims administrator subsidiary Broadspire made a number of appointments for its global operations executive team.
