Broker management systems (BMS) developer Applied Systems has revealed that it has expanded its partnership with the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO).

Through the partnership, Applied Systems will integrate CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution in its future releases – Applied Epic and Applied TAM.

The My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution allows brokers to send digital policy documents for personal and commercial lines, including proof of auto insurance, to consumers.

“I congratulate Applied on being among the first BMS providers to integrate CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution and thank them for their support of this important industry initiative,” said CSIO CEO Catherine Smola. “We look forward to continuing our close collaboration to further automate information exchange across the insurance lifecycle and advancing digital transformation.”

“To meet the demands of today’s connected insurance consumer, Applied has been committed for years to enabling our brokers and insurers to securely deliver policy documents, including pink slips, to the end insured through brokerage-branded online portals and mobile applications,” commented Applied Systems senior vice-president of international operations Jeff Purdy.

Purdy added that Applied is “pleased” to continue its partnership with CSIO, in support of the integration of the My Proof of Insurance system. This, he says, “[enables] brokers to reach their consumers across all channels while remaining in their daily workflows.”
