Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter, a Marsh McLennan subsidiary, has announced the appointments of Matt Petka as president of GC Access North America and branch manager of Guy Carpenter’s Dallas office, and Riley Underwood as head of client solutions for GC Access.

Guy Carpenter launched GC Access in 2020 as a dedicated offering to help clients capitalize on managing general agent solutions. The practice provides fully integrated and customized services across business planning, program carrier selection, capital advisory and modelling support.

Petka (pictured above) has more than 22 years of broking experience. He joined Guy Carpenter last year as a managing director at GC Access. Prior to that, Petka served as an executive vice president at Willis Re, where he focused on MGA and program business.

Underwood (pictured below) is a senior broker with more than 11 years of experience. He joined GC Access in 2021 as a senior vice president. Before joining GC Access, Underwood worked at Willis Re.
