The time is now to register for this year’s Insurance Business Canada Awards (IBCAs).

For the sixth year in a row, Insurance Business Canada (IBC) will be recognizing the amazing talent and innovation the Canadian insurance community has to offer.

2021 has been a trying year for us all, but industry leaders have proven that with resilience and determination, anything is possible. The landscape of how we conduct business has changed for the better and IBC is looking forward to celebrating the industry’s agility.

From categories such as the Lowestrates.ca Award for CEO of the year, to the Steamatic Canada Award for Woman of Distinction, all finalists deserve recognition for all they have accomplished – so make sure you’re part of the event, from the comfort of your own home.

Hosted by Suhana Meharchand, award-winning CBC new anchor, the IBCAs will be held virtually this year in response to the pandemic, but that doesn’t make it any less of a celebration.

“Last year we have to admit that taking the awards ceremony virtual felt like a disappointment – we wanted to be there to celebrate together as in all previous years,” said Paul Lucas, managing editor of Insurance Business. “However, the response we received, the attendance, and the feedback proved that this format really works – and now, even though it’s sad that the pandemic prevents us from meeting in person again, we know we can deliver an event truly befitting of this incredible industry. In fact, it’s only made the event more accessible to brokers, insurers, underwriters and risk professionals right across Canada who no longer have to worry about hotels or travel expenses.

“Last year’s attendees took away so much value from the event. Of course, everyone wants to win on the night – and this is a massive chance to celebrate the successes of your teams and colleagues. But the virtual panels and all the interaction that takes place throughout the event’s duration, makes this a fantastic educational opportunity too. I personally, can’t wait!”

Mark November 17-18 in your calendars and tune into our awards program, prize announcements and digital panels with finalists and sponsors.

Reserve your spot here and be part of the insurance event of the season.
